Sparkman Wharf is adding another locally owned restaurant concept to its waterfront dining lineup.

Strategic Property Partners (SPP) announced that Ziki’s Greek Street Food will open at Sparkman Wharf with a soft opening scheduled for July.

“Sparkman Wharf has become a dynamic food destination that offers a mix of concepts. From burgers to tacos, seafood to gyros, there is something for everyone to enjoy,” AJ Velasquez with SPP said in a press release. “The team behind Half Moon has created a great experience for our guests, and we’re excited to see them expand with a concept that brings new flavors and another reason for people to spend time at the waterfront.”

Ziki’s Greek Street Food is a made-from-scratch Greek kitchen created by the father-and-son team behind Half Moon Seafood Company, also located at Sparkman Wharf.

“Our goal is for Ziki’s to bring the authentic Greek street food that we love to the downtown Tampa community,” Tyler Cate, co-owner of Ziki’s Greek Street Food, said in a press release. “The idea really came from traveling and just loving fresh, traditional street food. Everything’s better wrapped in a warm pita with a side of ‘ziki’ — trust us.”

The restaurant will feature traditional Greek dishes made with sourced ingredients and recipes, including classic gyros, gyro boxes, Greek salads, loaded Greek fries and lokoumades.

“Ziki’s reflects our ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for local businesses to grow and thrive in our community,” Velasquez said in a press release.

Ziki’s is one of several recent additions at Sparkman Wharf. The restaurant will be located between Fit Bowl Co. and Dang Dude.
