Travel Creators Calvin and Teresa Jones Get Early Access to Royal Caribbean's New Nassau Beach Club

Calvin and Teresa Jones have built their reputation on telling families the truth about vacation planning. Now Royal Caribbean has given them a preview of what the cruise line hopes will transform one of the Caribbean's most visited ports.

The husband-and-wife team behind The Destin Duo were invited to tour the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island before its December 23 opening to the public. The invitation-only preview, which took place during a sailing aboard Explorer of the Seas, offered the couple an early look at Royal Caribbean's attempt to reinvent the Nassau port experience through an all-inclusive beach club concept.

Three Beaches, One Vision

The new facility divides into three zones: Family Beach, Chill Beach, and Party Cove. Royal Caribbean has equipped the property with seven beach bars, three swim-up bars including what it bills as the world's largest two-story swim-up bar, and three temperature-controlled pools. Day pass guests get roundtrip ferry service from Nassau Cruise Port, loungers, umbrellas, towels, lockers, showers, Wi-Fi, and unlimited food and drinks.

"Royal Caribbean has completely reimagined what a beach day in Nassau can be," Calvin Jones said. "This feels less like a shore excursion and more like a destination built with intention."

Building Trust Through Honest Reviews

The Destin Duo has carved out a following among affluent travelers aged 30 to 50 by focusing on what actually works during vacations. Access to the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will be exclusive to Royal Caribbean Group guests and Bahamian residents. Visitors can purchase day passes in advance, with optional upgrades including cabanas, day beds, and party deck rentals.

The Joneses plan to share their detailed beach club experience across their YouTube channel and social platforms, offering viewers a comprehensive look at the new facility before they book. For a media brand built on authenticity, the early access represents both recognition and responsibility—their audience expects honest assessments, not promotional fluff.
