A Florida-based publishing company has launched an ambitious program with the goal of turning 1,000 students, teachers, and coaches into #1 Best Selling Authors through a patriotically themed writing initiative.

Smith Profits and Junior Patriots, both headquartered in Winter Garden, Florida, recently announced the launch of their "WHAT I LOVE ABOUT AMERICA!" book series. This young authors series is designed to help students from elementary through graduate school publish their patriotic writings while achieving guaranteed #1 Best Selling Author status. After turning many business owners into #1 Best Selling Authors, founder Robert J. Smith, MFA, formed the non-profit organization to increase patriotism and opportunity for America’s youth.

"At a minimum, today's youngsters should have the same rights that their teachers, parents, and I had at their age," said Mr. Smith, who serves as CEO of Smith Profits. "My mission is not only to turn students into published authors, it’s to bring each and every participant the additional benefit of becoming #1 Best Sellers. This way, they can add this accomplishment to each of their college and career resumes."

This patriotic program employs Smith’s proprietary methods for achieving #1 Best Seller rankings and consistent media coverage. These are the same strategies that have helped Smith reach top production rankings at several Fortune 500 Companies including; Mobil Oil, Coca-Cola, John Hancock, New York Life, Mutual of New York, the Equitable, and AXA Financial.

Mr. Smith, who holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Full Sail University, Valedictorian, and a Feature Film Writing degree “with Distinction” from UCLA, has leveraged his background in both business and publishing to develop Junior Patriots. His own books have outranked notable titles from famous authors such as; Adam Smith, W. Edwards Deming, and Edward Bernays, in both U.S. and U.K. markets.

Beyond his publishing successes, Smith’s patriotic initiative presents itself as being focused on instilling traditional American values. "Our WHAT I LOVE ABOUT AMERICA! project will not only encourage children, teachers and others to think for themselves, it will also give them the confidence they need to handle the endless peer pressure they deal with on a daily basis," Smith said.

The Junior Patriots program builds on Smith’s consistent success stories over decades of volunteering in both public and private schools. One such success story involves a student diagnosed with ‘sever anxiety,’ who overcame her fear of public speaking through Smith's mentorship. She leverage this success to become involved in theater and is now a lead actress and a lead singer in her university’s plays and musicals.

Smith Profits and Junior Patriots, guarantee that all participants will achieve #1 Best Seller rankings. Smith’s company and the nonprofit organization teamed up to provide both network television coverage and media opportunities for youth organizations, through Smith’s established industry connections. Smith has been featured on ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC, and WGN as well as hundreds of other media outlets.

This patriotic initiative is open to students from various backgrounds and educational institutions. Smith Profits encourages parents, educators, and youth organizations to recommend their schools, sports teams, and youth clubs for participation. The nonprofit Junior Patriots organization also accepts private and corporate sponsorships to expand its reach and serve the less fortunate.

Smith Profits and Junior Patriots "Guarantee that only patriotic content will be published alongside the works of our young authors," with a focus on what Smith calls "American exceptionalism and traditional family values that inspire confidence and accomplishment in our youth."

The program, which aims to scale to 10,000 participants in 2026, represents a significant publishing venture, targeted specifically to help young American students and writers with patriotic themes. Whether it will achieve its ambitious goals remains to be seen, but it represents an unusual intersection of commercial publishing, youth education, and patriotic messaging, and stronger American communities.
