Avelo Airlines will launch new nonstop service from Tampa International Airport (TPA) to North Texas and the Charlotte, North Carolina, area this November.

Flights to Dallas–McKinney begin Nov. 19, followed by service to the Charlotte region via Concord–Padgett Regional Airport on Nov. 20, according to TPA.

TPA said the McKinney route offers Tampa Bay travelers closer access to North Texas, located near Dallas, making it more convenient for both business and leisure travel.

The Concord–Padgett Regional Airport is located minutes from Charlotte, providing access to professional sports, dining and nearby destinations such as the Great Smoky Mountains, according to the airport.

Avelo Airlines, which began service at TPA in late 2021, initially offered flights to Connecticut, Delaware and Wilmington, North Carolina. Since then, the carrier has expanded its network to include more small and mid-sized airports across the country.

TPA officials said the new routes add additional nonstop options for Tampa Bay travelers as demand for affordable air service continues.
