The reality TV phenomenon Love Island is bringing viewers together across Tampa Bay, with bars and venues hosting watch parties for new episodes throughout the season.
Last season featured a contestant from the University of Tampa, and this year's Islanders have already been announced ahead of the season premiere on Thursday, June 2, at 9 p.m. The Tampa Bay Observer has gathered a list of places where fans can catch the drama, romance and surprises each week.
Where to watch
Lower Deck is hosting Love Island on the big screen every Tuesday at 9 p.m. Viewers can reserve VIP couch seating in advance, though walk-ins are welcome. The venue offers waterfront views of Tampa Bay, along with a full cocktail menu, drinks, food and light bites available for purchase.
Armature Works is hosting watch parties every Thursday on the South Lawn beginning June 4. Guests can reserve a spot online.
MacDintons Soho is hosting an Island Villa Premiere Watch Party on Tuesday, featuring free drinks from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are free online, and guests under 21 are welcome. Specials include $5 margaritas and $10 bottles of wine.
Blind Tiger in Seminole Heights is hosting a watch party beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are free but required for entry. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and the kitchen closes at 10 p.m.
La La's Sangria Bar and Lounge is hosting Thursday night watch parties with food and drink specials. It's free to attend, and guests who reserve a seat will receive a complimentary Love Potion shot.
